Welcome To Year 6!
This year, Year 6 is being taught by Mr Proud who moved up to Year 6 after five years in Year 3.
As well as teaching Mr M Proud is also a lifelong Middlesbrough F.C supporter and a big fan of Cricket! When the sun comes out in the Summer term, Mr Proud enjoys running the after-school cricket club. In his spare he likes spending time with his family, painting and keeping fit and healthy by attending his weekly over-30 skateboarding night.
Mr Proud is also the school ICT and E-Safety Coordinator. He likes to use ICT to enhance the Year 6 curriculum wherever he can.
Year 6 is a busy year preparing for SATS but we also find time to learn about many fascinating topics such as Ancient Egypt and Charles Darwin and his Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection. Mr Proud also attended our annual residential trip Robinwood this year for the first time - he is already eagerly anticipating his next trip there in 2024!
